“To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place... I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”- Elliott Erwitt

Isn’t it great when a quote says everything for you? I fell into photography because I became obsessed with observing the world. For me, the lens is a tangible way to observe, learn, and document. I don't describe it as a hobby or my career, it is just how I have learned to interact with everything around me.

Since graduating from Biola University in Visual Journalism, I have kept my hand gripped around the camera, documenting weddings, events, people, travel, and concerts. Far more than a well-composed and properly exposed image, I aim to tell stories.

I cheat and call both Los Angeles and Phoenix my home with a suitcase always beside my bed ready to head off somewhere new. I have a heart for non-profit media and dream of directing all my interests and passions to aid the needs of others.

In the end, I'd much rather be listening to and telling your story.
